Studio and Critical Studies Courses

The Photography & Imaging Studio and Critical Studies are undergraduate courses designed for majors of the Photography & Imaging Department.  During the academic year, exceptions to this restriction are Photography & Imaging courses that run through Open Arts and Photography 2 for Non-majors.  Non-majors who wish to take a restricted course must get department permission-see the current semester Course Offerings pdf for more information for procedures and pre-requisites.  Non-majors enrolled in studio classes will be charged a lab fee.

Photography & Imaging students have priority for all Photography & Imaging courses (H82). 

During the summer, photography & imaging courses are open to all students (majors, nonmajors, non-NYU students, and non-credit students) For summer, register through the NYU summer website: http://specialprograms.tisch.nyu.edu/object/photosum.html.
