H82.1500-002 Advanced Independent Study
Independent studies are only granted in special cases, not as substitutes for our advanced classes. Students must propose their project to a faculty advisor and after approval, must submit a specific written proposal for full faculty review. The proposal should outline project concepts, expectations, and goals as well as desired credits and plans for meeting with advisor. (Submit a written copy with advisor's signature and also email the proposal to patricia.snavely@nyu.edu for circulation.) Students are registered by the department upon approval of the curriculum committee.
