Biography
Photography and installation artist, Rose DeSiano works with digitally manipulated photo composites and three-dimensional structures. Her selected exhibitions include New California Masters, San Francisco and Wight Biennial at the Hammer Museum UCLA, and an upcoming exhibition in Enschede, Holland. She also pursues public art and creative community projects. Over the last few years, she has installed public artworks in the Port of San Diego, Los Angeles and I-Park in Connecticut. As well, Rose has participated in community art projects in low-income areas, including East Harlem, NY and Venice Beach, CA. Along with teaching at NYU, she is on the faculty of several art departments in the tri-state area.
